Selected as Marketing Firm to Launch New Levitt Pavilion for the
Performing Arts in Pasadena
Pasadena,

Inspired by the love of music and art, Carolyn Smith, CEO of Magnus
& Co., was pleased to be invited to join the Board of Directors
for the new Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts in historic
Memorial Park in Old Pasadena. It was a natural opportunity to apply
the firm's talent in service to the community by helping to bring
free, quality entertainment to members of the community that might
not otherwise be able to enjoy exciting, live musical performances.
Magnus
successfully launched a marketing and publicity campaign that established
the Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts during its Inaugural
season. Campaign elements included local media relations,
marketing collateral, event planning, and Web site design and development.
More than six million media impressions were generated, which
helped to attract more than 10,000 concert attendees throughout
the season. Among its coverage, the Levitt was featured in
the Los Angeles Times, Pasadena Star News, Pasadena Weekly ,
and on KPCC , national public radio and more.
The
Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts—Pasadena, the first venue
of its kind on the West coast, staged 34 unforgettable performances
of highly acclaimed musicians and artists such as Billy Mitchell,
Freddie Ravel, Pauletta Washington, to name a few. Since its musical
debut to the community on July 20, The Levitt's captivating musical
presentations from around the world have brought together people
from all backgrounds, ages and musical tastes. Magnus
is already gearing up for the 2004 season which will feature 50
one-of-a-kind concerts with themed-nights devoted to world beat,
jazz, rock, classical and children's performances.
